Women's Softball

While the weekend will be packed with semifinals and finals across many sports categories, a particular and rather recent event will take place in Valenciennes. This is the Women’s Softball Challenge of France. On October 2nd and 3rd, the Valenciennes Vipers are hosting this year’s event, and the least we can say is that they are pulling out all the stops to make it a top-tier softball celebration.

They’ve shared their preparations on social media: bleachers, video replay system, scoring table…

They’ve secured partners: sports equipment, a music group for Saturday night concerts. There are events within the event, like the relay for young Faustine, launched by the Sénart club in 2019.

On the sports side, the five teams are the Rabbits of Clapiers-Jacou, the Pharaohs of Evry, the Grenoble Grizzlies, the Pessac Panthers, and the Comanches of Saint-Raphaël. They’ll face off as shown in the table above.
