Women’s softball takes center stage this week.
First up is the first round of the Women’s Softball European Cup for the under-18s.
Three victories in the first round against Sweden, Poland, and Croatia see France finish third in Group A, a result that secures them a spot in the top six of the competition, which features 11 teams in total.
The second round kicks off on Thursday, July 22nd, at 12:30 PM against Spain.
Meanwhile, the Women’s Softball Olympic Tournament got underway yesterday. Ahead of the opening ceremony on Friday, the softball players share the honor of being in the spotlight before other competitions.
