A French softball champion crowned with the Comanches de Saint Raphaël, and we reveal the matchups for the Division 1 and 2 finals in Baseball and Women’s Softball Division 1.
Women’s Softball Division 1

The Comanches de Saint Raphael, after a stellar season where they finished top with 18 wins against just 2 losses, secured the 2024 final against the Pharaonnes d’Evry by winning three out of four games. They reclaim the dominance they last knew in 2018 and 2019, and claim revenge for the 2022 final. We’ll dive deeper into their 2024 French Championship title in a dedicated article.
Division 2 Baseball

After semifinals pitting Nice against Valenciennes and Bréal against Béziers, the top two teams from their respective regular-season pools face off in a best-of-two final. Valenciennes had a shakier final match, with Béziers winning by mercy rule, while the Vipers barely scraped through to qualify.
We’ll see Béziers and Valenciennes face off in a best-of-five final over the last two weekends of October.
On the relegation front, Sénart dominated Thiais and needs just one more win next weekend to secure their Division 2 survival. Sénart, who already secured their Division 1 status with a win over Montigny, is on track to salvage their season.
Division 1 Baseball

Rouen didn’t flinch and dispatched Toulouse in their third home match, winning by mercy rule to set themselves up strongly for the final.
Savigny had a tougher time against Montpellier, who won the third match by a single run but fell by the same margin in the fourth.
So we’ll have a final between Rouen and Savigny in a best-of-five series over the next two weekends.

On the relegation front, Sénart and Montigny battled it out over four matches, with Sénart emerging victorious by winning their last two home games to secure their Division 1 status for 2025. Montigny now faces the fallout from a disastrous season following their explosive 2023 campaign. Will they drop to Division 2? That won’t be decided on the field but administratively, as the D2 winner (Valenciennes or Béziers) may choose not to promote for legal, financial, or other reasons. We’ll know in early 2025.
