The European Club Championships are underway
The French European campaign kicks off
While French sports fans enjoy their summer break, the European campaigns in several disciplines are already in full swing, with homegrown teams taking on the continent’s best. From standout performances to fresh ambition, French clubs are stepping up to the plate.
Baseball5: Clapiers Jacou’s Rabbits strike bronze in Europe
The Baseball5 European Club Championship rolled into Vilnius, Lithuania, over the weekend of August 15, with one French representative in action: the Rabbits of Clapiers Jacou.
The Hérault-based side delivered a sterling performance, racking up five wins in seven games to claim the bronze medal.
A well-earned reward for the club, which flew the flag for French Baseball5 on the continental stage. A performance worth celebrating, as the team confirms—at the highest level—the rapid progress of the discipline across France.
Women’s softball: two French clubs tackle Europe
French women’s softball is also heating up with the launch of two European Cups—at Premier level and Level B. Both 2025 French champions are in the hunt: the Pharaonnes of Évry and the Comanches of Saint-Raphaël.

The Pharaonnes of Évry set their sights on the top
In Level B, the Pharaonnes of Évry punched their ticket to Europe after finishing runners-up in the French Championship and reaching the Challenge de France final.
They’ll face seven teams from Hungary, Sweden, Croatia, Finland, Poland, and Israel in a packed field.
The Pharaonnes kick off their European campaign this Monday at 6 p.m., taking on a Hungarian side in a clash that will set the tone for their challenge. The Frenchwomen will be hungry to make their mark in a competition where defending national colors is the name of the game.

The Comanches of Saint-Raphaël face Europe’s elite
At Premier level, it’s the Comanches of Saint-Raphaël’s turn. Ten teams are split into two pools, with the Raphaëloises slotted into Pool B. There, they’ll lock horns with German, Italian, Austrian, and Dutch outfits before the knockout stages.
Their European bow comes this Monday at 8 p.m., when they take on the Dutch in a high-stakes opener.
Two European campaigns, two French ambitions, and one shared goal: to shine a spotlight on French softball on the continental stage. The summer promises fireworks for our clubs, and the European adventure is only just getting started.
