The Pirates dominated the regular season and naturally secured the playoffs and the Division 2 French Championship title.
The season was a long one, with 27 games needed to claim the crown. They reclaim the title won in 2021, after exiting in the semifinals in 2022.

The team’s statistics are impressive. Over six players from the regular line-up finished with a batting average above .400. Their ace, Nicholas Dazell, was a key factor in their success. He posted a 1.63 ERA for the season, with over 150 strikeouts and a 12-3 record.
The season isn’t over yet, though. Unlike in 2021, when a playoff berth wasn’t on the cards, this year it is.

To achieve this, the Béziers side will host Cometz (8th in Division 1). The three-game series is scheduled for October 14th and 15th.
Here’s François Bonnet, the President of Béziers: « We are very happy with this title. We were confident as we were well-prepared. We are ready to play for promotion and access to Division 1. It will be very tough, but the club and the city are behind this project. The club, unlike previous years, is now mature. May the best team win. »
