Diamond France Card Show: The Ultimate Baseball Collecting Event

The 100% Baseball Hobby Gathering in France

On Saturday, September 26, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM in Vincennes, the first edition of the Diamond France Card Show will take place—a full day dedicated to the world of baseball cards and culture.

Whether you’re a passionate collector, baseball enthusiast, player, curious newcomer, or simply looking for a great discovery, the Diamond France Card Show invites you to immerse yourself in a hobby that combines collecting, history, encounters, and passion.

The Heart of the Show: The Hobby

The Diamond France Card Show is first and foremost the first French card show entirely dedicated to baseball.

All day long, you can browse the booths, discover cards, chat with fellow enthusiasts, expand your collection, discuss your favorite pieces, or simply explore this universe.

While other conventions in France focus on cards, they typically cover a broad range—including TCGs (Trading Card Games) like Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana, One Piece, Magic, and sports cards.

The Diamond France Card Show takes a different approach: putting baseball at the center of everything.

Exhibitions to Discover Baseball in a New Light

The hobby isn’t just about cards.

The show will feature an exhibition by photographer Glenn Gervot, who has professionally documented French baseball for many years, as well as an exhibition by Quentin, focusing more broadly on American sports.

Two distinct photographic perspectives, two different visual worlds—but the same passion: telling the story of sports through images.

Pitch & Run: The Game That’s Making Waves

You’ll also find a booth dedicated to Pitch & Run, the popular baseball-themed board game that saw massive success last year.

The perfect opportunity to discover—or rediscover—this game, now a staple for many fans.

When Cards Tell History

A portion of the show will focus on late 19th-century historical baseball cards, true witnesses to the early days of baseball collecting culture.

A conference will also be held on the legendary T206 Honus Wagner card, one of the most famous in hobby history, as well as Lou Gehrig, an iconic figure in American baseball and a symbol of the fight against Charcot’s disease.

A moment to explore how a simple card can become a piece of history.

1924: The Roots of French Baseball

The Diamond France Card Show will also delve into the history of baseball in France with a conference on the year 1924, considered a turning point in the sport’s development in the country.

A deep dive into a century of history to better understand where French baseball comes from—and where it’s headed.

Unique and Customized Cards

Fans of original creations won’t be left out, with two booths dedicated to custom cards.

These creations allow collectors to reimagine the hobby, personalize cards, and add a new dimension to their collections.

A Taste of American Culture

Because a baseball day wouldn’t be complete without a touch of American culture, a US-themed dining experience will be available on-site.

Perfect for refueling between discoveries, conversations, or conferences!

And to End the Day… Cinema!

After a full day of baseball and collecting, the evening will continue at 7:00 PM with a screening of Scott Stevenson’s film, Bochy and the Blues.

A great way to extend the day and wrap up this first edition with a baseball story.

A Day for Enthusiasts… and Those Who Will Become Them

Cards, photography, history, games, conferences, custom creations, meetups, and cinema: the Diamond France Card Show brings together everything that makes baseball culture rich and vibrant.

Whether you come with a collection in hand, searching for a specific card, eager to meet fellow fans, or simply curious to explore an underrated world, there will be something for everyone.
