Division 1 Baseball – Savigny takes charge, PUC finally gets on the board
We’re at the exact halfway point of the regular season (7 out of 14), rarely does the standings at the midway mark resemble the final season standings. But the trends are there, and we already know that Béziers and the PUC won’t be in the final four. For the rest, anything is still possible.

Rouen and Montpellier each let slip the game played with their starting pitcher. In the second match, the Barracudas’ bats really came alive: 13 hits, Rouen’s defense under pressure, and a victory sealed by the mercy rule. As the European Cup and the final stretch of the championship approach, the Huskies still don’t show the calm expected of a title contender.
Sénart, for their part, ran into a solid Savigny team. Thanks to two wins, the Lions take the lead in the championship. Both teams had chosen to face off their starting pitchers, and in this exercise, Savigny made the difference, notably in a decisive 10th inning in the first match. The Templiers’ winning streak thus ends against Lions already in top form for Europe. Note the fine offensive performances of Savigny’s Dahan and Nunez, both authors of RBI hits.
The PUC finally gets their first win of the season, but the Parisians had to wait for the second game. The first match went to the Pirates, at the end of a true offensive festival marked by 26 combined hits. The script flipped in the second duel: 25 hits in total, but this time in favor of the PUC, who finally erase the zero from their win column. The two teams parted ways with the same score reversed in terms of victory, 11-6.
In Toulouse, the Tigers narrowly avoided a double defeat. In a first completely crazy match, they took advantage of the difficulties of the La Rochelle bullpen and the momentum given by a superb home run from Kylian Bramberger to win by a single run in the 10th inning. The Boucaniers, however, reacted in the second game with a more controlled performance: 13 hits and eight runs scored to leave Toulouse with a split of victories.

In the standings, Savigny takes advantage of their two-game lead to take charge ahead of Boucaniers who remain as tenacious as ever this season. Behind them, Sénart, Rouen, and Montpellier remain in ambush and should engage in a fierce battle for the playoff spots. Toulouse is stumbling, while Béziers keeps a reassuring margin in the race for survival. With this first win, the PUC can finally regain some confidence to try to get out of the rut.
Division 1 Men’s Softball – Contes confirms, Toulouse takes charge of the lower pool

Leaders of the upper pool, Contes continue their excellent season by dominating Nogent twice. Nice also made a very good move with two wins against Évry, both with the same decisive score of 8-1.
In the lower pool, Toulouse takes charge of the standings after winning both of their games against Grenoble. The first match saw a spectacular offensive deluge, ending with a score of 23-16.
