The world of baseball is making a comeback in cinema and TV. After ‘A League of Their Own,’ Disney Plus has announced a new animated series about a high school baseball/softball team: the Pickles.

Each episode will take viewers back a week before a big game, seen through the eyes of a different team member each time.

The goal of this upcoming series is to create a comedy about love, rivalry, and the challenges we all face to grow in life.

This series will be a great way to get younger generations interested in bat-and-ball sports: baseball and softball, and an additional tool to grow our ranks of licensed players.

We’ll likely see a teaser by the end of the year.
