The two French teams competing in the two European Cups have just finished their tournaments. Senart finished second in the B Cup, while Rouen came last and eighth in the A Cup. As for the Huskies, without foreign pitchers and without three key players, the task was too daunting. The desire to do well for a young team with no experience in this type of competition was not enough.
For Senart, the competition was easier, as the team is in top form and played at home. Result: a fine second place. Looking ahead, we can think that Senart, through the D1 Championship, has a chance to vie for a spot in the European A Cup for 2022. For the other team in the B Cup in 2022, the France Challenge organized in early September in La Rochelle will determine their fate.
