A weekend without major upsets or surprises across all championships.
European Cup

Montigny in the European Cup was eliminated in the group stages. Montpellier, reaching the semifinals, hoped for a strong showing but collapsed against Spain’s Tenerife (future European champions) and were eliminated by the mercy rule with a score showing the gap in level between the Spanish and French teams remains significant. They also lost the third-place match against Valencia. In summary, a rather lackluster European Cup for the French.
Division 1 Baseball

The big movers of the day were Rouen and Sénart, each winning two matches. They regain strength in the standings. Rouen moves into second place, while Sénart joins the group of five teams tied for third.
Metz once again caused a surprise by winning the first match against Toulouse, who had previously dominated at home. La Rochelle continues to struggle, barely holding on in the second match, losing only in the 11th inning.

With different numbers of matches played by each team, five teams are tied in the middle of the table with equal matches played and won. This championship offers great drama and suspense for the future.
Division 2 Baseball

Four matches were postponed for various reasons.
Valenciennes battled hard in the first match against Rouen in a very long game, finishing with over thirty points scored in total. Two victories against Rouen further secure their position at the top of the standings.
Le Puc also secured two victories against La Guerche.
Meyzieu demonstrated their mastery and confirmed their good mid-table form, also winning both matches against Eysines, who are starting to struggle in this championship.
Division 1 Women’s Softball

No surprises in this championship as the favorites won, and none of the three teams at the bottom of the table managed to threaten the top three. The Comanches remain firmly at the top with 13 wins and only one loss, while Nice, at the bottom, has 3 wins and 11 losses.
