The Division 1 Baseball championship was on hiatus. The rescheduled match between Metz and Sénart, which was supposed to take place this weekend, was also canceled due to persistent bad weather in northeastern France. This clash has been postponed to Sunday, July 14th.
Division 2 Baseball
In this championship, it was the exact opposite of last weekend’s match, and a few surprises came to spice up the results.
Valenciennes again drew with Ronchin, and Meysieu managed to snatch a win against Clermont-Ferrand. No changes in our standings, but we see that some so-called small teams are making the big ones sweat. Notably, Sénart2 and the PUC split their two meetings.
No significant changes in the overall standings of the two pools.
Division 1 Softball
The sixth matchday of the Division 1 women’s softball championship saw the Comanches of Saint-Raphaël firmly establish themselves at the top with 11 wins out of 12 games played. Notably this weekend, a surprise: Pessac went and took a game from the Pharaohs of Évry, also showing their dominance in this championship.
