Fewer games than other weekends, but once again surprises and expected outcomes.

Division 1 Baseball

The surprises

La Rochelle suffers its third straight loss and loses the championship lead. Despite injuries, Toulouse has been more consistent, and the Rochelle pitchers have underperformed, especially the non-JFLs. The second match lost on the mercy rule testifies to this.

Metz continues to chip away and share in their away games. The Savigny Lions were picked off like the Rochelle team last week and saw the second match slip away in extra innings.

Montigny continues in defeat, and the crisis is starting to surface in the club and Division 1. Two losses, albeit by narrow margins, saw the Sénart team manage to contain the Cougars and win both confrontations, with a scare of a comeback in the second.

The expected

Rouen hosted Montpellier, and while the first match might have suggested Rouen would dominate, it was ultimately the Barracudas who shared as expected.

In the standings, many changes among the eight teams. The Tigers Toulouse, thanks to their two victories against La Rochelle, take their place as leaders. Savigny and La Rochelle find themselves tied for second place. Sénart exits the red zone by joining Metz. However, Montigny is sinking durably despite their two games in arrears like Metz.

Division 1 Women’s Softball

The surprises

The Comanches suffered their first loss against Pessac but maintain their championship lead.

The expected

Nice continues to fail to intimidate their opponents and inflicts two heavy defeats against the Pharaohs of Evry.

Clappiers maintain their course and remain in the race.

Here we are in a championship that after four days puts two teams on the sidelines: Nice and Grenoble, who will need to find resources to continue to exist. Everything remains open for the other four teams, even if the Comanches of Saint-Raphaël have taken a good lead that can still be overturned, notably by Clappiers and Evry.

Division 2 Baseball

Sénart wins both of their reserve matchups. As for Valenciennes and La Guerche, the match is postponed for the second time due to rain.
