🎙️ Weekend Results: A Heart-Stopping Finale! What a weekend, ladies and gentlemen!
Suspense at every turn, plot twists to make sports thriller writers green with envy! Right down to the last inning, anything could still happen. And believe me, nothing was left to chance!

🎭 Metz: The End of an Epic… or a Springboard for a Comeback?
On Saturday night, the axe fell: Metz’s defeat sealed their fate. Next stop, Division 2 next year, despite a proud rebellion on Sunday with a spectacular extra-inning victory! A dignified exit, in style, to close this Division 1 adventure. The club has probably not heard the last of them—the elite will see them again, mark my words. We’ll look back at their journey, rich in emotions and lessons.

🐾 Savigny: Hope Dashed
That draw between Metz and La Rochelle gave the Savigny Lions a glimmer of hope, after a heavy defeat in their first match against Rouen. But the Huskies, relentless, showed their teeth: seven runs in a single inning, a double victory over the weekend, and boom, the play-off doors are wide open for them. The postponed match between Toulouse and Savigny is no longer relevant for the standings. Savigny, despite an up-and-down season, saves face with a fine title: the France Challenge! And with it, a ticket to the 2026 European Cup. Not too shabby, right?

⚔️ Sénart and Béziers: Relief at the Bottom
Metz’s defeat made some people happy: Sénart and Béziers are officially saved! The Templiers, boosted by the return of their ace Yorfrank Lopez, tamed the Pirates twice. Each had their highs and lows this season, but Sénart secures their spot, even if the club’s standing calls for better. Béziers, for their part, pull off a convincing first season. Final whistle, time for a well-deserved rest!

💥 Montpellier vs. Toulouse: Clash of Titans!
Montpellier didn’t flinch! A mercy-rule win in the first match, then a fierce battle in the second. Ten innings to separate the two titans! The Barracudas win by a hair and lock in their first-place spot. Toulouse, valiant but defeated, remains third… just like before this scorching weekend.
🔥 And Now? The Play-offs Promise Fireworks!
Four teams still in the running. La Rochelle, back from the dead, snatches their spot and will face Montpellier, hosting the first two games. Toulouse, meanwhile, will host Rouen for a clash that promises sparks. See you on August 16th and 17th for the first two games, then on August 23rd and 24th for the semi-final showdown in three, four, or five games if needed. Reminder: the final starts on September 6th. Get your caps, snacks, and cheers ready… the best is yet to come!
🎉 What a Championship, Friends!
Highs, lows, miracles, and drama, sweat and tears. Consistency for some, roller coasters for others. In short, baseball as we love it.
See you soon for the next chapter of this fantastic adventure! ⚾
