With the 11th matchday of the season complete, the race for the four playoff spots remains wide open.

Only one team swept their doubleheader—Rouen, who continued their winning streak and now hold a comfortable lead at the top of the standings, virtually securing their playoff berth. Their doubleheader victory over Toulouse (who couldn’t overcome their usual road woes) sets them up for a strong summer, with the next matchday not until late August.
The rest split their doubleheaders.
Montigny managed to split with Savigny, denying the Lions a reassuring ticket to the final four, despite them sitting second in the standings—two games clear of the chasing pack.
Sénart and Montpellier also split. Bouncing back from a doubleheader loss to Metz, the Templiers showed fight in their first game, only to collapse in the second.
Finally, Metz and La Rochelle battled to a thrilling split, with both games decided in the 10th inning by a single run.

With several postponed games still to be played throughout the summer (five of the eight teams haven’t completed their 22-match schedule), predicting the final four is nearly impossible. And that suspense is a good thing. Stay tuned for a team-by-team breakdown tomorrow.
