🥎 The weekend of diamonds: between European clash and national battles
European Cup: Tenerife too strong for French clubs
The French clubs couldn’t overturn Spanish power this weekend. Montpellier, beaten in the final, and Rouen, dominated in the small final, couldn’t do better against Tenerife. The task was too tall. That said, one of the two will return to the European stage in 2026, depending on the league standings. The other ticket is already in the pocket of Savigny, winner of the France Challenge.

⚾ Division 1 Baseball: Béziers and Toulouse go head-to-head in the derby
On the 10th matchday, Béziers and Toulouse traded blows in an electric derby. Spectacular victory for the Pirates in the first game (with home runs by Delogu for Toulouse and Debonville for Béziers), then a last-gasp Toulouse revenge in the second. In the standings, the two teams hold onto 4th and 5th places. Meanwhile, La Rochelle is backed into a corner: a loss to Savigny next weekend would seriously jeopardize their playoff hopes.

âšľ Division 2 Baseball: suspense at every level
Pool A:
Montigny snatches a draw against league leaders Valenciennes, a precious point in the playoff race. Bréal, courageous but ineffective, loses twice to PUC. Distanced, the Breton club will have to play the relegation playoffs… against Rouen, the bottom of the table, who had the weekend off.

Pool B:
Nice rolls on without mercy and crushes Clermont in a one-sided duel. Meyzieu, drawing against Vallée du Gapeau, sees Nice pull away in the standings. The point taken by Vallée against a top team is worth its weight in gold: it allows them to aim for the playoffs, like Bréal in the other pool. Clermont, meanwhile, clings to a slim reprieve.

🥎 Division 1 Men’s Softball: Evry asserts its dominance
Match in advance for Pessac and the Pharaohs of Évry… and what a show! Two identical victories for the Pharaohs (11-1, twice), who confirm their status as title contenders. Pessac and Contes are now distanced. The 2025 trophy will very likely be decided between Nice and Évry. A duel to watch closely.
