The weekend of June 11th follows a week marked by the European Baseball Cups. The teams not involved face off. On the schedule: Women’s Softball in D1, and baseball in Division 1 and 2
Women’s Softball Division 1

All teams have played 10 matches so far. Currently, the Grenoble Grizzlies have won eight and lost two, putting them at the top of the standings ahead of the Rabbits and the Pharaohs. The latter, buoyed by their recent victory in the France Challenge, will be eager to climb back up the rankings. Indeed, this weekend’s showdown between Grenoble and Évry could see the Pharaohs reclaim the top spot with two wins. If they lose both, Grenoble will secure a strong position to fight for the championship.
Meanwhile, Clappiers and BCF also face off, as do the Comanches, who host the Cavigals. Paris and Nice need to secure wins as their current results are underwhelming, and their position at the bottom of the table is tough to manage.
Baseball Division 2

The 10th matchday of the season sees only three matchups in Pool A this weekend. Valenciennes travel to Dunkerque to solidify their first-place position in Pool A. Rouen also heads to La Guerche de Bretagne, who have struggled in their Division 2 debuts. Finally, Sénart travels to Thiais, aiming to stay near the top of the table and secure their second-place spot behind Valenciennes.
Baseball Division 1

The two European teams, Savigny and Rouen, are on a break this weekend. The other teams’ matchups will give us a better idea of the strengths in play, as all are struggling to make progress.
Stade Toulousain travels to Montigny, aiming to hold onto their first-place position. Toulouse completely missed the mark at the France Challenge, unlike Montigny. The latter have already faced Stade at home but are more confident despite their loss last weekend against the La Rochelle Buccaneers.
Editor’s prediction: A split between the two teams
The Barracudas host the Cometz. The latter still struggle to challenge the top teams. On the Montpellier side, all the hungry fish are back, including performers from America. Montpellier will aim to solidify their lead in Pool B.
Editor’s prediction: 2 wins for Montpellier
La Rochelle hosts the Parisian Université Club. The Buccaneers are weaker this year but often manage to hold their own against top teams. Beating PUC should be possible for them, even if their chances of reaching the playoffs in their pool seem slim.
Editor’s prediction: 2 wins for La Rochelle
Finally, Sénart hosts Nice. Here, Sénart should be able to claim the second spot in Pool B from Savigny. The Cavigals have yet to win a match in this championship. Their resignation could lead them to go all out in the second half of the season.
Editor’s prediction: 2 wins for Sénart
As for broadcasts:
- La Rochelle vs. PUC
- Sénart vs. Nice
- And possibly Montpellier vs. Metz
