Curtains on the MLB season, and – déjà vu – it’s the Los Angeles Dodgers who lift the trophy of these famous World Series, which our friends across the pond love to call, with relative modesty, the ‘World Championship’.
And what a show! 🌟
The superhuman Shohei Ohtani once again defied the laws of possibility: three home runs and ten strikeouts in a single game. Yes, all that, all by himself. At his side, another hero with a Hollywood star name, Will Smith, just added a sixth crown to his resume, with no less than four different teams – a record that smells like legend.
We’ll also remember that 18-inning marathon, twice the regulation distance, that kept all of America on the edge of their seats until the early hours. And what about the new Japanese wave? The prodigy Yamamoto, capable of pitching a complete game… and stepping back on the mound the very next day! Pure samurai.

US baseball finds its DNA: show, drama, thrills.
Plot twists worthy of the greatest sports thrillers, raw emotions, heroes and tears – in short, the grand drama of sport, the kind that gets crowds on their feet and hearts racing.
But while the MLB goes into hibernation, our gaze turns to another arena: the Baseball5 European Cup, which kicks off in Lithuania.
🎯 Today, France takes on Ukraine in their opening match. Four pools, four teams each, and a promise: short, explosive, urban spectacle.
The French Baseball5 team has all the cards to shine. Unlucky finalists in 2023, beaten by the Lithuanians on their own turf, they return with a vengeance and stronger. The Federation President said it last year: ‘Baseball5 is the key to renewal, the engine of our sport’s notoriety.’

So, if our Tricolores bring the cup home, it would be more than just a trophy: it would be a strong signal, a new breath for all of French baseball. A form of revenge for the other European Cup of traditional baseball. ⚾🇫🇷
See you at the end of the week for the verdict – and, who knows, maybe a new glorious chapter to write.
