If you’re hooked on French-language baseball social media, you’ve probably come across Killian Milhet while scrolling through TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook. Since September 2023, Killian Milhet, aka @Kmt Baseball, has been posting numerous punchy videos. Baseball TV France met up with this young enthusiast.
BTVF: How did baseball come into your life?
United States, Virginia, I was a kid and discovered the sport, went to minor league games, and the passion never left me, not even after returning to France. I became a fan of stars like Bryce Harper and played in several clubs.

BTVF: Exactly, what is your baseball career path?
Over the course of my moves, I played in several French clubs. In the Centre region with the Red Castors d’Olivet. Then in Brittany with the Krakens de Pordic (near Saint-Brieuc). I continued in Nouvelle-Aquitaine with the Panthères de Pessac. Currently, I’m in Bulgaria with the Blues de Sofia.

BTVF: How did you get the inspiration to make baseball videos?
I was first drawn in by other posts in various sports. I followed basketball: trashtalk (NBA), American football: Nathieu Van Bowl (NFL), and motorsport: u_f1 (Formula 1). I noticed that few videos were made in French about baseball, so I decided to give it a shot. Inspiration came quickly—baseball rules, funny anecdotes, and especially the tour of French clubs. I’m happy to see the likes, shares, and encouraging comments…

BTVF: You told us you want to become a professional video editor? Are these short videos good practice?
Yes, I gave myself one year in Bulgaria to improve with professional video editing software. At first, I worked with quick and intuitive editing software, but now I’ve moved on to software that allows for much better results. It’s a learning process, but it opens up a lot of possibilities. I’ve chosen to stick with a catchy style—fast-paced, funny punchlines, and information that makes you want to keep watching.

BTVF: You’re a partner of a company that sells wooden bats, can you tell us about it?
First and foremost, they’re friends I wanted to help with marketing in France. They’re players from my Bulgarian club, the Blues de Sofia. They started making wooden bats for themselves and then created a company called E7bats. I’d love for one or more top-level French clubs to take an interest in their work.

BTVF: What can we wish you?
To succeed in my video training and be able to make a living from it. Thanks to Baseball TV France for this first spotlight.
