What’s the connection to baseball?
Yesterday, he posted his latest challenge: « Hit a home run in 24 hours. » He headed to the PUC (Paris Université Club) and donned the team’s baseball jersey. Coaches from PUC took him under their wing to teach him the basics of swinging.
First in the batting cage, he quickly realized the difficulty of mastering a seemingly simple motion that’s actually quite hard to coordinate. His shoulder started to ache, and he had no idea if the balls he hit were going far or not. Out on the field, he soon realized that 30 meters was his best average performance. So, he trained and quickly understood that hitting a home run on a baseball field in 24 hours wasn’t possible.
However, to complete his challenge, the coaches suggested he try on a softball field, which is smaller in distance…
25 minutes of laughter and fun that show baseball is enjoyable for everyone who doesn’t know it. Thanks, Tristan.
