We’ll see the reigning two-time European champions, the French women’s baseball team, in action. They’ll compete in their first Women’s Baseball World Cup from September 13th to 17th, 2023, in Miyoshi City, Japan.
This is the first time the competition is being held after the 2020 World Cup was canceled due to COVID-19.

Here’s the French squad. The competition will be fierce, but the French, led by Lahcene Benhamida, will be eager to fight for a spot among the world’s best.

Women’s Baseball World Cup Group A
The French team is in Group A with two Asian nations: host Japan, the world’s number one, and Chinese Taipei (ranked 2nd), as well as two American teams: Venezuela (ranked 5th), Cuba (ranked 7th), and Puerto Rico (ranked 9th). The other group took place in August in Thunder Bay, Canada, and the teams that qualified for the 2024 final are the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
