The France 18U teams are mostly made up of young players from Pole France and Pole Espoir.
In 2021, France finished fifth in the competition, won by the Dutch.
France’s head coach, Gerardo Leroux, will lead his team in Hluboka and Brno, Czech Republic, from August 13 to 20, 2022.
The competition features 12 teams. In the first round, the teams are split into two groups and face off in a round-robin format. France is drawn into Group A with Austria, Spain, Great Britain, Lithuania, and the Netherlands. The top two teams from each group advance to the semifinals.
