Division 2

Clermont-Ferrand’s Arvernes claim the Division 2 French Championship title against Valenciennes. After losing the first match on Saturday night, the depth of the yellow-clad team’s pitching battered Valenciennes. We’ll look back at this victory, which, while a sign of potential promotion to Division 1, won’t result in it. Will Valenciennes, as runners-up, want to move up by default?

Open de France 18U

It took place in four different locations. Four teams stood out: Montpellier, Rouen, Metz, and Paris. The finals of this competition will be held on October 15th and 16th. We’ll come back to it later.

Juco

A pitcher from Nouvelle-Aquitaine (Pineuilh) who played this year with Stade Toulousain went to play an all-star D1 match and threw his fastest pitch at 95.8 miles per hour. We’ll revisit this by interviewing the man in question, Mathias Lacombe, shortly.

Annie Couton

The family of French baseball has lost a great lady of our sport. She worked with Montigny to bring the club to an unparalleled level. She served on numerous committees within the Federation. May this associative generosity and all the hearts she raised through her presence and advice be forever enshrined in the pantheon of our sport.
