The penultimate weekend of competition across all disciplines. Just one weekend left before the playoffs.
Baseball Division 1

13th matchday brought plenty of surprises.
- La Rochelle fell twice to Rouen, reversing their previous advantage over the Boucaniers
- Montigny secured a win against Metz
- Montpellier swept Savigny twice
- Sénart clawed out an 11th-inning victory over Toulouse.

Standings before the final matchday next weekend.
- Rouen is first and out of reach.
- The Boucaniers have said goodbye to playoff hopes and may already be on vacation if Montigny skips their trip (motivation issues or fines…)
- Metz can only qualify by sweeping Montpellier and if Savigny drops both of their remaining games against Toulouse, or vice versa.
- Montpellier is set to take second place unless they lose both of their remaining games against Metz.

Barring any upsets, the playoffs will likely feature Rouen, Montpellier, Toulouse, and Savigny. Next week’s clash between Toulouse and Savigny will be decisive for the standings. Both teams need a clear win, as if Metz sweeps their games, we could end up with four teams at 15-13, forcing a tiebreaker.
In the relegation playoff, Montigny and Sénart will face off in a best-of-five series starting September 29 to decide who might be demoted.

Baseball Division 2

Not all games were played due to poor weather, so Pool B will have to wait for the final matchday.
In Pool A, Bréal and Valenciennes both won and will face off in the final matchday to decide the pool leader. Le Puc still has a mathematical shot at second place, needing to sweep Rouen and hoping Bréal loses both games to Valenciennes. If they tie, only the run differential will decide.
Women’s European Softball Cup

Under Céline Lassaigne’s leadership, the French national team secured 7th place with a perfect pool-stage start. Italy won the competition, defeating Great Britain. We’ll recap this week of women’s European softball action later this week.
