This week, the spotlight is on Rouen Huskies pitcher Quentin Moulin.
For the other teams:
Sénart: Jamel Boutagra
After four games, we’ve shown some promising signs but also exposed weaknesses, particularly in our pitching. We expect more from certain players. With a young, inexperienced team like ours, we need to dominate on the mound.
Toulouse: Yanael Delpech
Of course, we’re happy with the results and the start to the season. One of our goals was to improve our away record, and it’s off to a great start with this first outing. We’re especially pleased with the chemistry between the generations and the smooth integration of our young recruits Eloi Baisse, Théo Garcia, and especially Liam Navarro, who we had high hopes for. Jean Scavo’s return has also strengthened our line-up. Our two starting pitchers have been very confident from the get-go, and John Will Garcia’s transition to closer has gone smoothly. Now, it’s time for our second objective: stabilizing our performances throughout the season. We can’t wait to host Rouen!

For Savigny: Ivan Acuna
We’re still in a good rhythm in terms of our playing style; we just need to keep working on the little details. Another great day for our pitchers, and the umpiring was top-notch.
For La Rochelle: Pablo Ossandon
I think things are going well when a team thinks and creates the same vision. I love working as a team, and with the Buccaneers, there’s always great cooperation. When the season starts, our goal is to win everything as a team; personal records come second. Thanks for everything, Baseball TV France.
For Montpellier: Owen Ozanich
Despite some impressive performances at the plate (Rodriguez, Kovacs) and on the mound (Couvreur, Canelon), we’ve also shown that our overall success will depend on our ‘weakest links.’ It’s time for us to play our best baseball, and we hope to do that this weekend at home against Sénart.

For Rouen: Quentin Becquey
A mixed start to the season: The Rouen pitchers did their job (1BB and 16K in 2 games). They went after the duels. The defense was solid despite a few costly errors. The offense struggled in both games, despite a strong start on Sunday morning in game 1 (3HR in the 2nd inning). The good at-bats came in waves, but we lacked execution throughout the day. The balance sheet is inevitably negative on the surface (2 losses), but the team comes out of it much stronger! Despite a relentless fight all day long, the team remained combative and united. It’s in the tough times that the true nature shines through, and what I saw in the players’ attitudes, actions, and looks really impressed me! There were no downcast players; on the contrary, I saw men with their teeth bared! This weekend will serve us well for the season! Whether it’s calm or stormy, no one will abandon ship!
