Division 1 Baseball : the dynamics are confirmed
As the season progresses, the trends observed for several weeks are strengthening. Some teams are struggling to find consistency, others are going through a difficult period, while the most in-form teams continue their rise in power.

Sénart confirms its good dynamic. Apart from a complicated period during the Challenge de France, the Parisians continue to string together positive results. Against PUC, they once again made the difference in the second half of the games. This scenario is becoming recurrent for the Parisians: capable of starting strong, they collapse regularly in the last innings.
The second game perfectly illustrates this trend. While they were still ahead by three points at the start of the eighth inning, the PUC players saw Sénart come back before losing by one point in the ninth. The pitcher Osiris German, solid during a large part of the game, has probably pitched one inning too many. With twelve defeats now, the maintenance is dangerously far away for the Parisians, who could soon no longer have their destiny in their own hands.
On the other hand, Béziers has managed a nice coup against one of the favourites of the championship, Savigny-sur-Orge. With a heavy defeat during the second game, where the French pitchers Froment and Guyonneau suffered particularly, the Héraultais showed a completely different face during the first game. Three quality offensive innings allowed them to score the six decisive points of the victory. It should also be noted, during the second game, the enormous performance of Lilian Amoros, author of two home runs and five points produced.
Rouen, however, had a mixed weekend. The Huskies dominated the first game, but the point scored by Toulouse in the ninth inning seemed to signal a change in momentum. The next day, the Tigers gradually gained confidence before hitting a home run with a fourth-point inning in the seventh, practically sealing the fate of the match. The Normans continue to alternate between very good and less good. The Japanese pitcher Ito, who is known for his atypical lateral arm movement, failed to destabilize particularly comfortable Toulouse batters in the box.
In Montpellier, La Rochelle showed that it could compete with one of the top teams in the league. In the first game, Krzykawial continued his excellent series of performances. However, the relief provided by Tom Hernoux, combined with four defensive errors from the Boucaniers, gave the Barracudas the opportunities they needed to win. In the second game, the French pitchers Lesfarques and Davy had a difficult start, conceding many walks. In front, De la Rosa also lacked control. The game finally tipped in the eighth inning, when Montpellier suffered six decisive points.
A general trend emerged from this weekend: it is often the less dominant pitchers who have tipped the games, particularly in the later innings. More than ever, the depth of rotations and the quality of relievers appear as crucial elements.
Metz had to settle for a draw against Meyzieu, a team from the Cards that confirms week after week that they will be a serious contender this season. The Rhone club was a finalist last year and seems once again equipped to play a leading role.
Clermont achieved an excellent operation by winning two games against Montpellier’s reserve team. This precious double allows the Auvergne team to gain some ground in the standings.
Rouen and Valenciennes also shared the victories, a result that does not really satisfy either team as it keeps them at the bottom of the standings.

Men’s Softball Division 1: Contes and Evry take the lead
Nice left no chance for Nogent with a perfectly controlled weekend.
The confrontations between Rouen and Grenoble offered a completely different spectacle. The two teams shared the victories at the end of very offensive matches, each won with significant margins. This is a further illustration of the crucial importance of pitching performance in this discipline.
The same scenario occurred between Contes and Evry, who also ended in a tie.

In the high pool ranking, Contes and Evry consolidate their leading position and seem to be settling in at the forefront. Conversely, Nogent continues to lose ground.
In the lower pool, PUC is alone at the head and is gradually increasing the gap on its pursuers. Grenoble, Toulouse and Rouen will need to react quickly if they want to stay in the race.
