The Ascension weekend is not just about Challenge de France de Baseball. While the eyes will be turned towards the semi-finals scheduled for Saturday — Montpellier against La Rochelle at 13h, then Rouen against Béziers at 19h — other fields will also vibrate to the rhythm of the Division 1 Softball women’s and the Division 2 Baseball.
All scenarios remain open in this last four of the Challenge de France. La Rochelle dreams of a first historic final in the competition, while Béziers will try to reproduce last year’s feat by bringing down the Rouen giant.

Women’s Division 1 Softball
Already the seventh day of a championship that only has ten. And unless an improbable catastrophe occurs, it is difficult to imagine the Comanches de Saint-Raphaël letting go of the title this season. Three double confrontations are scheduled this weekend, one of which is played Saturday evening in the evening. This is great news for the discipline, as several fields – Chartres, Toulouse or Évry – now offer matches under the floodlights.
Évry receives Nice
A match scheduled for Saturday evening in the evening. The Nice players are going through a particularly difficult period: twelve matches, twelve defeats. And the trip to Évry is not a gift. The Ile-de-France team is having a solid season and will want to take advantage of this match to stay in touch with the top of the rankings.
Pessac welcomes Grenoble
Good season so far for Pessac, firmly installed in second place. The objective will be clear: to consolidate this position while keeping Évry at a distance in the standings. Grenoble, on the other hand, is still struggling to find its rhythm this year. Like Nice, the Grizzlys are not really taking off in this championship.
Saint-Raphaël visits Colombes
Colombes is clinging on with courage and sometimes manages to hold its own. But facing the real powerhouses that are the Comanches of Saint-Raphaël, the mission is immense. However, in sport, a lapse in concentration or a less controlled match can sometimes open the door to a surprise.
Division 2 Baseball
Division 2 Baseball

In Division 2, Valenciennes and Nice have brought forward their clash from the fifth day, particularly due to field constraints and the organization of the Women’s Softball Challenge of France scheduled next week at Vipères Park.
The Cavigals are currently having a convincing season. Just behind the mastodons of the former Division 1, which are Metz and Montigny, the Nice players are reminding everyone that they too have a solid experience at the highest level.
Valenciennes, on the other hand, is still struggling to find its rhythm this season and is in the middle of the table in the standings, alongside Clermont and Ermont. A draw would already be a good result for the Vipères. However, a double victory for Nice would allow the Cavigals to remain fully in the race for the top of the standings.
