The France 17U Baseball5 team has reached the European Cup final. A fine run from the young French side, who outclassed Italy in the quarterfinals and Lithuania in the semifinals.
They’ll face Turkey in the final today at 13:00. They lost 5-4 in the group stage, but hope is alive, and they have what it takes to claim the European title.
By qualifying for the semifinals, they’ve already secured their spot in the 2023 Baseball5 World Cup. Like the juniors, they’ll get to test their mettle against the world’s best teams.
They’ve pulled off the feat of winning this first edition of the European championship and followed in the footsteps of the seniors by qualifying for the World Cup.
