Why are we talking about the film that just hit cinemas?
Because it features baseball scenes shot in France.
Let’s break down the story first
A comedy starring José Garcia, François Cluzet, and Doria Tillier
The plot:
After a botched heist leaves Antoine injured, he forces his way into Elias’ life for a hideout. The anarchist thief and the unassuming history teacher form an odd bond of control and camaraderie. But they didn’t count on Lucie, the quirky detective on the case…

In February 2020, filming took place at the Templier Stadium in Sénart, featuring a baseball match. Many club members were paid to act as extras, and director Christophe Offenstein even used players from Sénart. Two years later, the film hits theaters, and even the trailer includes baseball scenes. Kudos to the Templiers for stepping up to support a project where baseball plays a small but notable role.

François Cluzet is nearly unrecognizable as a shaggy-haired thug, while José Garcia nails the role of the naive professor manipulated by both the thug and the stunning commissioner.
