A rainy weekend saw only a few matches take place.
All Star Game
Let’s start with the annual highlight, the All Star Game, hosted by Valenciennes. The All Stars, featuring the league’s top foreign players, outclassed a French national team that could hit but struggled defensively and on the mound.

Jean Christophe Masson (Canadian player for Rouen Huskies) was on fire at the plate and backed up his hot streak by winning the Home Run Derby.

Notably, during this All Star event, the French Open for 10U players took place, and it’s encouraging to see that Montigny emerged as the French champions. This will be a morale boost for the club, which has been struggling in national and European competitions with its first team.

Division 2 Baseball

Three matches were played. Sénart2 fell behind to Rouen2. Ronchin lost both of their games, but most notably, Béziers managed to win both of their home games against Clermont-Ferrand, one of the championship favorites. This performance suggests that Béziers could be a strong contender alongside Nice in Pool B for a playoff spot. No matches were played in Pool A.
Men’s Division 1 Softball

The action took place in Toulouse, with Montpellier resting. The Cavigals de Nice showcased their dominance as the league’s second-place team, easily maintaining their standing by winning all their matches. Pessac and Toulouse split their results. Toulouse continues to struggle in this championship, while Pessac comfortably holds onto third place.
