May has arrived, and baseball weekends are packed with plenty of competition. Division 1 and 2 baseball, Men’s Challenge de France for softball, while women’s softball takes a break.
Division 1 Baseball
The clash of the leaders in Pool A between Toulouse and Rouen will certainly give us insight into Toulouse’s rise and Rouen’s roster overhaul first and foremost.
Editor’s prediction: Split between the two teams

Sénart travels to Metz and desperately want to feel on top of their pool standings before hosting the Challenge de France. Metz will do everything to win a game, especially the one where Shane Priest pitches. But who better than Sénart’s players to counter this American pitcher who was among their ranks last season?
Editor’s prediction: Split between the two teams
Montigny needs to regain confidence and win both games against PUC. The latter, however, can repeat their feat of taking a game from Rouen.
Editor’s prediction: Montigny wins both games

Finally, Savigny hosts Nice. It’s hard to see the Cavigals take a game from the Lions, who, like last year, are strong with a quiet power that makes them favorites for this championship.
Editor’s prediction: Savigny wins both games
No live coverage planned for this 7th matchday

Division 2 Baseball
Sénart hosts Valenciennes. The showdown in Pool A between two teams tied at the top of the standings. Unlike Valenciennes, Sénart 2 is not seeking promotion to Division 1, which is already present. However, a double victory would cement their quest for supremacy. Valenciennes have foreign reinforcements to compete, especially in pitching.
Editor’s prediction: Split between the two teams
La Guerche hosts Thiais. It will still be difficult for the Bretons to emerge victorious from these two games. Thiais must win twice to relaunch their Pool A standings.
Editor’s prediction: Thiais wins both games

Ronchin travels to Dunkerque. The two teams are neck and neck in terms of results. Ronchin needs two victories more than Dunkerque.
Editor’s prediction: Split between the two teams
Anglet hosts La Rochelle. The two teams are the cellar dwellers in Pool B. They know each other well. The one that wins both games will reassure themselves for the rest of the season.
Editor’s prediction: Split between the two teams
Eysines hosts Clermont. The Auvergnats are in a strong position and feel they have the wings to achieve a double by winning the championship, as they did last year. The Eysines field risks seeing a two home runs in left field…
Editor’s prediction: Clermont wins both games
Meyzieu hosts Béziers. Another clash between the second and third in Pool B. The Pirates will be eager to distance themselves from the outsider for second place in the pool. The playoffs are decided here if one of the two teams wins both games.
Editor’s prediction: Split between the two teams
The Sénart game will be broadcast on the Templiers’ YouTube channel
