Division 1 Baseball: Rouen fires up, La Rochelle stumbles

Back from a lackluster European campaign, the Rouen Huskies have found their bite. A clean sweep against the Templiers de Sénart: a flawless performance that allows them to catch up with Montpellier at the top of the standings. At least provisionally, as the Barracudas, troubled by rain in Metz, could only play one match — which they won anyway — leaving the top spot within reach.
Meanwhile, La Rochelle continues its slow decline. Two more losses to Savigny, who seize the opportunity to escape the relegation zone and regain some momentum in the standings. Béziers, meanwhile, overtakes the Rochelais, lying in wait.
At the midway point, two teams seem to have pulled away: Montpellier and Rouen. Behind them, uncertainty reigns. The other teams are alternating between standout performances and missteps, in a tighter championship than ever.

Division 1 Women’s Softball: The Comanches and Pharaonnes steal the show
Draw at the bottom between Clapiers and Colombes: one win each and no real takeoff. At the top, however, it’s full throttle. The Pharaonnes d’Évry gave the Grenoble Grizzlies no chance, two convincing wins and a show of force. Same story for the Comanches, ruthless against Pessac, whom they dominate head and shoulders. Result: they remain firmly at the top of the championship.

Division 2 Baseball: Valenciennes, Nice and Clermont in control
Pool A: Valenciennes continues its solo run. New victim: Bréal, who remains stuck at the bottom alongside Rouen. Nothing seems to be able to stop the northern leaders.

Pool B: A truncated top clash between Nice and Meyzieu, reduced to a single match, to the advantage of the AzurĂ©ens. We already know the two favorites of this pool, now it’s a matter of seeing who will dominate at the end of the season. Behind, Clermont reassures itself with an easy double against VallĂ©e du Gapeau, the clear relegation candidate more than ever threatened by relegation.
