3rd matchday of the championship for Divisions 1 and 2
In Division 1, two teams are leading their pools: In Pool B, the Montpellier Barracudas with a perfect 6-0 record and the Savigny Lions in Pool A with 3 wins in 4 games. Notably, two underwhelming performances have caught our attention: the Rouen Huskies with a 3-3 record and the Montigny Cougars with 2 wins and 4 losses. The usual hierarchy is a bit different this year.
Note that Sénart and La Rochelle did not play their matches due to no less than 6 COVID cases among the Templiers. They will face off on August 29th, the last possible rescheduled matchday. This will be just before the France Challenge. This factor will be quite decisive in this pool, as the Challenge stakes may not focus much on this match, especially in terms of pitcher preservation.
We’ll see

In Division 2, first note that no team has won all 6 of their matches since the start of the competition. In the four pools, one team seems to be making an impression: Bréal, who after a disastrous first match has checked all the boxes with scores showing their dominance. Rouen 2, on the other hand, seems to be off to a better start than their big sister in Division 1.
