Two days into the Men’s Softball European Championships, the French team predictably bowed to the Czech defending champions, starting off on the wrong foot (11 runs conceded in the first inning). The second match against Sweden turned in France’s favor 18-4. Yesterday, they pulled off a feat by beating the Dutch, runners-up in Europe, 10-9. A nail-biter with a strong start by the French, who fell behind but held their ground.
Today, the pool stages continue with two matches for France: this morning at 10:00 against Israel and at 16:00 against Lithuania. Thursday, June 24 at 9:00 France vs. Slovakia. Friday, June 25 at 10:00 France vs. Croatia. Friday, June 25 at 16:00 Denmark vs. France.
