Règles communautaires

Baseball TV France is a community of baseball, softball, and baseball5 enthusiasts in France. To ensure everyone enjoys the experience, we ask you to follow these rules.

What we expect from you

  • Respect others — Be courteous, even in disagreement. Passionate discussions about sports are welcome, personal attacks are not.
  • Stay on topic — Comments and check-ins must be related to baseball and sports.
  • Share authentic content — Check-in photos must be taken at the stadium or related to a sports event.

What is prohibited

  • Insults and harassment — Any insulting, threatening, or harassing remarks towards a member, player, referee, or any other person.
  • Hate speech — Any discriminatory content related to origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or physical appearance.
  • Inappropriate content — Content of a sexual, violent, shocking, or illegal nature.
  • Spam and advertising — Repetitive messages, unauthorized commercial links, scams.
  • Impersonation — Pretending to be another user, player, or official entity.
  • Disclosure of personal information — Sharing someone else's personal data without consent.

AI Moderation

To protect the community, your comments and check-in photos are automatically analyzed by artificial intelligence. This analysis detects content that violates these rules.

If content is deemed inappropriate:

  • It is automatically removed
  • A warning is sent to you via notification
  • Your warning history is viewable in your profile

Sanctions

Sanctions are applied by type of activity (comments or check-ins) and are progressive:

1 to 2 warnings (within 30 days)
Simple warning + notification

3 warnings (within 30 days)
24-hour suspension of the affected activity

Repeat offense after suspension
7-day suspension

Multiple repeat offenses
Permanent suspension

Warnings older than 30 days no longer count for automatic escalation but remain visible in your history.

An administrator can at any time apply a global ban (all features) in case of serious behavior.

Reporting and Blocking

You can report any content or profile via the flag button. Reports are handled by our team.

You can block a user from their profile. Their content will become completely invisible to you.

Appeal

If you believe a moderation decision is unfair, contact us at contact@baseballtv.fr specifying your ID and the content in question. A human moderator will review the situation.

Baseball TV France reserves the right to modify these rules at any time. Users will be informed of any changes via the App.
