For a long time, they were called Inter Leagues. This junior competition for 12U and 15U teams allows French leagues to form regional squads and compete for the championship title.
The competitions qualify teams for the Little League Europe/Africa tournaments, which in turn qualify for the Little League World Series.
Currently organized are:
Baseball Major (10-12 years old)
Baseball Senior (13-15 years old)
The winner of the Baseball Major competition can choose between the Major or Intermediate 50/70 regional tournament, with the runner-up eligible for the other category. The winner of the Baseball Senior competition can choose between the Junior and Senior tournaments, with the runner-up eligible for the other category.
In 2017, the Île-de-France Little League team became the first French team to win a Europe/Africa tournament, in the Intermediate 50/70 category in Italy.
This French tournament will take place from August 26 to 28, 2022, in La Guerche de Bretagne. (fields above)

The 10 teams are split into two pools of 5 and will face off in a round-robin format. The top two teams from each pool advance to the semi-finals, while the others play classification matches for 5th-8th and 9th-10th places.

Baseball 15U/Senior Category
The 12 teams are split into two pools of 6 and will face off in a round-robin format. The top two teams from each pool advance to the semi-finals, while the others play direct classification matches (3rd vs 3rd, 4th vs 4th, 5th vs 5th, 6th vs 6th).

The 15U regional teams will be without their top players, who will be in Mexico for the 15U Baseball World Cup. This will give other players a chance to showcase their talent.
