Far from the Soriano, Lemestre, Acuna, Lefevre and many others who work for high-level French baseball and potentially for its international reputation, a life of its own in “territorial” baseball is also bubbling from spring to autumn. These are the clubs competing in somewhat confidential regional leagues, sometimes unknown. Yet real confrontations take place there, with baseball that is certainly less powerful than that of the seniors but just as fierce and passionate (from which real talents often emerge). All over the hexagon, the bats speak, people laugh and sometimes cry too. They shout with joy or frustration, that well-known feeling of “gamers”, up to the “fifties” and beyond.
The D3 is, among other things, created to highlight this baseball where they hit “in aluminum” where they already smear themselves with Tiger Balm at dawn, where the sole official is in charge of managing the « double-header » … If some recognize themselves …
The French Baseball Division 3 Championship is the third level of French baseball.
