For its final appearance of the 2021 season, Baseball TV France brought its expertise to Normandy, to the lair of the Rouen Huskies at Pierre Roland field. Indeed, the French Series began this weekend with a promising program: two matchups between the champion of Division A and that of Division B. Rouen, the leader of its group, defends its 15th title, eyeing its 16th, against Sénart, which only has one (2014). The equipment is set up in the « visitors' » dugout, not without difficulties. A camera must be placed on the roof of the clubhouse, another in the middle of an impenetrable vegetation behind the fence… Dozens of meters of extension cords.

Fortunately, the welcome was perfect. In addition to the coffee and catering, the Huskies lent us a hand. This is how we can thank all the volunteers who, always with a smile, helped us. Pierre-Yves Rolland, Mrs. Blondel, Dylan Glisson himself, Luc Piquet himself, Richard, who treated us to his climbing skills, and Jean-Christophe!
The experience, albeit exhausting, was above all full of beautiful encounters.
There are many memories. Technical issues, managing accounts, cameras, line-ups, sometimes capricious networks, the rain that made an appearance (just once), a few broken bats flying over our heads, exchanged glances with the players, impromptu exchanges, moments shared with the actors of the news, a new perspective on this fantastic adventure that is French baseball. This unprecedented angle, well received, I must say, has projected us into a universe still quite unexplored today. So, like a few pioneers, we move forward with the curiosity that characterizes and always accompanies those who invent.
We hope to have brought the added value that is dear to us, that of accessible baseball, visible to the greatest number. Also aware of the improvements to be made, we give you an appointment next year with the same enthusiasm for new « lives »!
